JANUARY 14-31
The average cost of caring for a polio patient is approximately $1200.
Sometimes it's less, often several times that amount. Every hospitalized
patient in Wayne County during this summer's epidemic benefitted in
some way from your annual contribution to the March of Dimes. In many
cases, your Wayrie County Chapter paid the entire cost of hospitaliza-
tion, doctor and treatment bills. Your continued support of the March
of Dimes is your best insurance that if polio strikes in your home, you
would be assured of the best in modern treatment for infantile paralysis.
