More than 20 per cent of the
goal of $175,000 in the current
Detroit Histadrut (Gewerkshaf-
ten) campaign has been raised,

Palestine. He is honorary vice-

administrative committee of the
American Jewish Congress. He
has been a delegate of the Labor
Zionist • Movement to several
World Zionist Congresses and has
participated in conferences of
the Histadrut in Palestine.

eminent author, historian and

Dr. Mahler received his Ph. D.
from the University of Cracow
and served as eaitor of the YIVO
Yearbook and as a member of
the faculty of Hebrew Gymnasi-
um Yabneh in Lodz.
