Describes Experience

Don Pines Speaks
At Histadrut Rally

Describing his experiences in
two trips to Palestine, Dr. Arzt
urged support of the labor Zionist
program on the' strength of
achievements which have enabled
the pioneers in the Jewish Home-
land to set up the foundations for
what is expected soon to be turned
into a Jewish State.
"A self-respecting people makes
things happen, causes them to be
activating factors in the construc-
tion of their land," Dr. Arzt
stated. He pointed out that Hista-
drut, the Palestine Jewish Feder-
ation of ,Labor, has taken 160,000
people with a love for the soil
and has caused them to .take the
land with a poor economy and to
enrich it.
Describing the study he had
made of conditions in displaced
persons camp in Europe and his
tour to Palestine via underground
routes with Jewish refugees, Mr.
