Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Israel of Buena Vista Ave. gave a buffet
dinner at their home, Sunday, Nov. 10,, for their family and friends,
honoring their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kiva Nemer, who celebrated
their 29th wedding anniversary on Nov. 9.
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Ressler and Mrs. Jacob Ressler and Miss
June Ressler, of Hazelwood Ave., have just returned from New
York, and Newark, N. J., where they attended a Bar Mitzvah
dinner-dance.
Mrs. Joseph Cohen entertained at Huyler's honoring her
daughter Marilyn's 16th birthday.
Mrs. Leslie Mitchell, of Wisconsin Ave., left for Los Angeles,
where she will visit her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Fields.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred W. Payson of Chicago Blvd. have returned
from a ten-day visit to New Orleans and are now spending the
weekend in Akron, Ohio.
Mrs. Philip Arnold of W. Philadelphia Ave. was honored at
a surprise family party Nov. 19 given by her son and daughter-
in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Arnold, on the occasion of her fiftieth
birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Gladwin (Rhea E. CashmanY were guests
of the Cunard White Star Line at a series of special parties and
inspections of the Queen Elizabeth and are retraining in New York
to attend the convention of the American Society of Travel Agents.
Mr. and Mrs. David Klein and son, Alfred E., of 402 W. Taylor,
Flint, left Nov. 16 for a month in Florida en route to Santiago,
Chile, where Mr. Klein will visit his brother. They expect to spend
three months in visiting relatives in Santiago.
Sandra Stark of Woodingham Dr. was hostess at a dinner-
shower Nov. 8 honoring Miss Toby Fox, whose marriage to Jerome
Shatanoff took place Nov. 17. On Nov. 15 Miss Stark entertained
in honor of Charlotte Kruger, who will wed Harold Bregman Dec. 1.
William Rosen, of Roseville, has left for several months in
Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard H. Block and daughter, Nancy, are spend-
ing a month at the El Portal Hotel in Mesa, Ariz.
Mr. and Mrs. Maury Coggan (LaVerne Weiss) of Beverly Hills,
Calif., re here visiting their mother, Mrs. Harry Coggan.
&pt. Sherman Zeldes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Zeldes of
Hazelwood Ave., is spending his terminal leave at home after four
years in the - Air Forces. Capt. Zeldes, a former Wayne student,
is planning to return to school in February.
Mr. and Mrs. Arold Brodie of Oak Dr. spent the last week-end
in South Bend, Ind.. and in Kalamazoo where they were the guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Oronstein.
-Mrs. Benjamin Siegel and her daughter, Eleanor, of Boston
Blvd. are spending a few weeks in Atlantic City.
Sidney Rothchild of Havana is spending two months here with
relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Eisenberg of Kalamazoo spent the last
week-end as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gilbert of Arden
Park and Mr. and - Mrs. Oscar Zemon of Roslyn Rd.
Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Gingold of the Belcrest Hotel have re-
turned from a few days stay in Chicago.
Mrs. Samuel Lieberman of Birchcrest Dr. has returned from
Waco. Texas, where she spent the last few weeks visiting her family.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Payson of Chicago Blvd. have returned
from a 10-day stay in New Orleans.
Mrs. Peter Travis of Boston Blvd. left Tuesday for Miami Beach.
Fla., where she plans to spend a month.
Mr. and Mrs. David Marx of Merton Rd. are leaving this Satur-
day to spend a fortnight in Martinsville. Ind.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Wallace of Canterbury Rd. left Wednesday
to spend 10 days in St. Joseph, Mich.
Mrs. Sonia Epstein of Byron Ave. and her daughters, Dorothy
Epstein and Mrs. Samuel Schaflander of Merrick Ave., are leaving
this Saturday to spend 10 days in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Israel Davidson of Strathcona Dr. have left for
Miami Beach. Fla.. where they will be guests for a month at the Sea
Isle Hotel.
Mrs. Herry Jones. her daughter. Ellen. and her son, Richard.
left Thursday for a visit in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. William Mazer of Birchcrest Dr. are spending the
week-end in Columbus as the guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Benjamin Lurie.
Miss Sadie Radin has returned to New York following a visit
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Radin of Hazelwood Ave.
The Efronson family have moved from Beaconsfield Ave. and
are now residing at 4875 Three Mile Dr.
Miss Elaine Lefkofsky of Cortland Ave. was hostess to 25
friends at a luncheon at the Book Cadillac last Saturday on the
occasion of her 16th birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Tobin of Merton Rd. have returned from a
visit in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Diem of Webb Ave. has returned from
Chicago and South Bend where she visited her- parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Cohen.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Beck of Burlingame Ave. are visiting in

ter pf Mr. and Mrs. Louis Leven-

the bride of David Harold Weis-
berg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip
Weisberg of 2972 Gladstone, at
an evening ceremony Nov. 2 at
Riviera Hall. Rabbi Leon Fram
officiated. A sweet table and re-
ception followed.
The wedding ceremony fol-
lowed a bridal shower given
earlier in the evening by the
bride's sisters, Mrs. Jack Finn and
Mrs. M. Sachs.
Mrs. Finn was her sister's
matron of honor. and Gerry Ham-
burg was maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Gloria Eisenberg,
Gloria Scharn, Leah Goldberg
and Florence Gold.
Irving L. Weisberg served his
brother as best man. Ushers
were Dave Kaufman, Solly Mog-
lovkin, Edward Brown, and Clar-
ence Goldberg.
The young couple honeymooned

Rebury Camp Victims

PRAGUE (JTA)—The Council
of Jewish Communities of Bo-
hemia and Moravia has raised a
volunteer labor brigade to rebury
the remains of 20,000 Jews who
died in the Theresienstadt con-
centration camp.
