So that children need not miss school, most of their
Saturday Play School:
appointments are made on Saturday. A Board of Education teacher supervises the Clinic's
play school (above), to provide diversion for children who might become upset while
waiting for their dental, pediatric, or eye, ear, nose, or throat appointment.

Thorough Examinations : Before

making a final diagnosis the Clinic's doc-

tors — all of whom are volunteers — pre-

scribe necessary tests performed within

the Clinic. The woman patient is having

a basal metabolism test by means of equip-

ment donated by the Aaron Mendelsohn

fund, which also donated the dental X-ray
machine. Photo on bottom shows a man
undergoing an electro-cardiograph which
also helps to determine the diagnosis.

While the Clinic treats only ambulatory patients, some

had public health experience,

surgery such as removal of small cysts, and treatment of

infections, not requiring bed care, is performed in Surgery.

Modern Equipment: The Clinic is proud of its
modern equipment and well trained technical staff. Like
the X-ray machine above, which this youngster regards
apprehensively, all medical equipment was donated to the
Clinic. This X-ray machine was presented in memory of
Mrs. Leopold Wineman by her children..
