1 — A group of young Jews discussing
the Palestine problem with I. Kaminsky
(center) a Jewish Agency worker. The
monument reads. "Israel and the world shall
remembers 30.000 Jews exterminated in Ber-
gen-Belsen at the hands of the murderous
Nazis. Earth conceal not the blood shed on
thee. First anniversary of liberation April

2—Only a very few Jews have thus far
succeeded in getting out of the British Zone
of Germany and corning to the U.S. One of
those is Mrs. Nora Ney. actress in Poland
before the war. Mrs. Ney (second from
left) has been admitted on an affidavit from
M.G.M. with whom she is signing a movie
contract. She came with a group of social

3 — A group of Jews just arriving at a
DP camp in the British Zone in Germany.

4—When the campaign of terror and re-
pression in Palestine was at its worst last
summer the Jews in the British Zone of
Germany held a meeting of solidarity with
the Yishuv. Here we see the poster calling
on Jews to attend and express their sym-
pathy for the Jewish brethern in Palestine.

5 — Jews shown here were the first in
the British Zone to get permits to come to
America. They are seen waiting for trans-
portation to take them to the ship bound
for the U.S.
6 — Jewish refugees in Germany who re-
main in the status of displaced persons are
highly dissatisfied with conditions under
which they are forced to live. particularly
since they are obliged by law to remain
within the DP camps. The photo shows a
mass meeting of Jews at Bergen-BelSen.
