Our country stands at the crossroads of history.

The election next Tuesday may well determine our

destiny for the next fifty years. We must decide now

for peace or war, for prosperity or ruin.

ship of the late, revered Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The great masses of the American people recog-

nized in Franklin D. Roosevelt the great ideals and the

unswerving liberalism that made him the prophet and

hope of the common man. Under him, America made

great strides forward. Under him, the world felt the

great good heart of America.

Roosevelt's program of progreisive liberalism is

still the fundamental policy of the Democratic party.

President Truman has reaffirmed his great predeces-

sor's whole social program. He has also reaffirmed

an unequivocal staruCotil44 immediate admittance of

one huncired thousand Jews into Palestine.

To retain the great social progress accomplished

under the Democratic party in the last thirteen years,

to promote full employment, to work toward a foreign

policy that means future peace, we sincerely urge you

to VOTE DEMOCRATIC next Tuesday.
