Givat Washington Project
To Start in Zion Shortly

JERUSALEM, (JPS-Palcor) —
Construction of the colony for
Jewish refugee children in Pal-
estine to be called Givat Wash-
ington will begin this fall or in
- early winter, following the ap-
proval of final building plans by
the board of trustees of which
Rabbi Zemach Green, -of Wash-
ington, D. C., is American repre-
sentative. The cost of the colony
when completed is estimated at
$250,000. A school house and
synagogue would cost $90,000,
and a dormitory, $58,000.
