After the dinner at the Belcrest
Hotel, the couple left for a motor
trip to Canada and through Mich-
igan.

Kirsan Weinberg, son of Herman
Weinberg, of Chicago, on Sept. 15.
Formerly a Wayne student,
Mrs. Weinberg received her B. A.
degree from the University of
Chicago and has almost com-
pleted work on her master's de-
gree in psychology.
Dr. Weinberg received his de-
gree as Doctor of Sociology from
the University of Chicago prior
to his entry into the armed forces
in 1944. Since his return, Dr.
Weinberg has been doing re-
search work of state mental hos-
pitals.
The couple will reside in Walla
Walla, Wash., where Dr. Wein-
berg has secured an assistant
professorship at the University.

three years overseas duty, is now

riage of Kathleen Blau, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blau
of Shaker Heights, 0., and S.
Miller Weisman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Sidney Weisman of Suffolk
Dr. was solemnized at 6:30 Sun-
day evening, Sept. 22, in the
Griei Memorial Chapel in Cleve-
officiating.
The bride wore her grand-'
mother's gown of ivory satin and
the veil of heirloom rosepointe
lace. She carried a bouquet of
gardenias centered with white
orchids.
Mrs. Robert Weisman was the
matron of honor and . Caroline
Reich the maid of honor. The
bride's two sisters, Jane and Sally
Blau, and the bridegroom's sis-
ter, Nancy, Weisman, were brides-
maids. Robert Enggass served as
best man.
Members of the family from
Detroit, Cincinnati and New York
were included among the out of
town guests.
Mrs. Weisman attended Swarth-
more College and her husband
attended Duke University before
his enlistment in the Army Air
Force. He served in the Pacific

Dorothy Sarnoff, young Amer-
ican soprano, will appear with
the Philadelphia La Scala Opera
Co. in "Faust - , Thursday evening,
Oct. 3, at Masonic Auditorium.
After finishing college she went
to Paris to study with Renee
Gilly, Marjorie Lawrence's sing-
ing teacher, but finding the in-
ternational situation a trifle too
tense, she returned to America
where she continued her instruc-
tion with Florence Easton and
Queena Mario, both formerly
Metropolitan divas.
Miss Sarnoff is married to Dr.
Shepard Aaronson. Her father
and brother are physicians. She
has been outstandingly successful
in finding happiness in both mar-
riage and her career and finds
they do not conflict.
