David Miller, chairman of the religious school committee stated that a conference between Rabbi Segal, Mr. Warsen, supervisor of the Sunday School, and the com- mittee is being arranged to set up the curriculum for the year. Benjamin Bradman, Chairman of the committee to select a cantor, is in New York audition- ing applicants. A meeting of members of the congregation will be held next Wednesday evening, in the Bag- ley school. The agenda includes recommendations of the Board with reference to a purchase of additional land for the synagogue; appointment of a cantor; reports by the nominating committee and a report on the status of the building project of the synagogue. I Jewish Medical Center To Be Formed by JCRA LOS ANGELES, (JTA) — The first national medical center under Jewish auspices in the United States will be established at Los Angeles, more than 500 delegates attending the national convention of the Jewish Consumptive Relief Association voted here. The plans provide that the Los Angeles Sanatorium, operated by the J. C. R. A., is to be expanded from an institution specializing in tuberculosis patients to a medical center treating all types of dis- ease. The budget for the medical center was set at $7,215,000 to be raised and spent within two years.
