Miss Elaine Ruth Krell of Cortland Ave. left on Sunday for
Frankfort, Mich., where she will join Mrs. Barney Hertzberg and her
daughter, Barbara, for a few weeks. •
Dr. and Mrs. M: E. Bachman of Parkside Ave. left by plane for
a visit in Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. and. Mrs. Eugene Lastar of Sturtevant Ave. spent the last
week- in Hamilton, Ont.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Basch and daughter, Lillian, of Lawton Ave.
are sojourning at Crystal Beach, N. Y.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Atlas of Calvert Ave. are spending some
time at Higgins Lake. -

Marvin Smith, Morton Weinberg, Sandy Hirschfield and Lou
Bindes are sojourning at their summer home in Leamington, Canada.
Miss Shirley Fertell of Rochester Ave. haS left for California
and will matriculate at the University of the City of Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Rosenberg of Buena Vista Ave. have returned
from their stay at Beaver Lodge, Mercer; Wis. They visited their
daughter, Lynda Rae, who is spending the summer at Whispering
Pines Ranch Camp.

Mrs. Max Trager and her daughter, Beverly, of Oak Dr., have
left for a month's stay in Los Angeles where they will attend the
wedding of Gerald Dunitz.
Mrs. Frank Yamin and her two sons, of Baltimore, Md., are the
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred L. Brook of Griggs Ave.
Mrs. Morris Fox of Los Angeles arrived here to visit with her
mother, Mrs. Benjamin Goldstein, during her illness. Mrs. Goldstein
is recuperating at University Hospital, Ann Arbor.
Noel Gottesman, a student at the University of Notre Dame, is
home to spend the summer vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Gottesman.
Miss Norma Shepherd of Glendale Ave. entertained 16 couples
last Saturday evening in honor of her 16th birthday. The occasion
also marked the return home of her cousin, David Dwoskin, who
has been honorably discharged from the U. S. Navy.
Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Spira (Mickey Goldstein) have returned
from a two-week trip which included LaSalle, Onsted and South
Haven, Mich., and Chicago, Ill.
Miss Ruth Himmelbaum, who has -been the house guest of Mrs.
Slyvia Rosenberg of Seward Ave. - for the last two weeks, has returned
to her hoMe in Brooklyn, N. Y.
