Campers for Aug- 11-28
Mothers and children can regis-
ter now for the last session of
Camp Chelsea, Aug. 11-28. The
camp is operated by the Jewish
Center.
On Aug. 8, a medical examina-
tion will be given, and mothers
are urged to call MA. 8400 for
appointments. Children, 3-9, are
accepted. They will be supervised
by five counselors in a program of
swimming, rowing, arts and crafts,
games, hikes, picnics, group sing-
ing and dramatics. ..
Strictly kosher food is served.
Buses leave Detroit every two
hours; and a camp car furnishes
transportation to camp from Chel-
sea.
Fees are $24 for mothers, $17
for children (Center members);
$32 for mothers, $20 for children
(non-members). Call Betty Salter,
Camp registrar, at Center, for in-

Fight on High Prices May Visit Palestine

Mrs. Dolores Storich of 4063
Humphrey was the herdine of the
movement to fight inflationary
prices in the Dexter section of the
city. •
Mrs. Storich organized the buy-
ers' strike and succeeded in gath-
ering together a large audience
who were instructed not to buy at
high prices and to help keep costs
down so as to avoid inflation.
Young and old joined Mrs.
Storich's movement which was an
impressive demonstration.

stay in Europe.
They will sail from New York
for LeHavre on the SS. Ericsson,
and will visit in Paris, Prague,
Vienna and Bucharest. Conditions
permitting, they may also go to
Palestine to visit Mr. Chajes fam-
ily.
The Chajes will visit with their
respective families in Europe and
will appear at concerts and radio
broadcasts in European capitals.

The new school bus acquired by Yeshivath Beth Yehudah Ladies
to transport children to and from. the school, will be on display
in front of the Yeshivah building, Dexter and Cortland, on Sun-
day, Aug. 11.
Purchase of the new bus will be celebrated on Aug. 11 at the an-
nual picnic of Ladies of Yeshivath Beth Yehudah on the grounds
adjacent to the building and in rooms 4 and 5 of the Yeshivah.
A feature of the picnic will be the serving of breakfast, dinner and
supper, in addition to other refreshments, at nominal costs. The
all-day picnic will begin at 10 a.m. Admission will be free.
