Leaders at Ehrlich Forest in Ein Hashophet In J. H. Ehrlich's Memory

Mrs. Maurice Landau Reports on Visit to Site of Project
Completed in Tribute to Late Detroit Leader in Ein
Hashophet, Palestine; Planting Began in April

One of the great projects sponsored by Detroit Jewry
in Palestine is now a reality.
Mrs. Maurice Landau, who returned two weeks ago from
a nine-week stay in Palestine, brought a report of her visit
to the Joseph H. Ehrlich Me-
morial Forest in Palestine,
and told of the enthusiasm
which marked the planting of
the trees in this forest by
members of the famous - Ein
Hashophet Colony which in-
cludes among its settlers sev-
eral Detroiters.
Planting of the Ehrlich For-
est commenced in April. It is
located in the area that con-
tains the swimming pool and
amphitheater of Ein. Hasho-
phet. When completed, the
forest will have more than
10,000 trees.
