10 -Zion Bridges
Afe Dynamited

Destruction by dynamite of
10 bridges in Palestine, on the
border o f Transjordania,
caused' another crisis in Pales-
tine last week end.'
The entire village of. Beth
Haavarah was arrested and
held in custody by Palestine
police.
One of the reasons ascribed -
for the 'blowing up of the
bridges is the granting of in-
dependence to Transjordania.
Another reason is the escape
of the Mufti.
