UNRRA to Increase 'National Catholic Co-chairman

VIENNA (JTA)—UNRRA has
decided to grant Displaced Per-
sons status and special aid to.
all Austrians who, as victims of
the Nazi regime, were placed in
concentration camps, according to
a cable received here from Hans
Geiger, a Washington, D. C., at-
torney who has been representing
former concentration camp in-
mates.
Unckr the ruling, several thou-

Thomas E. Braniff, of Dallas, Tex., newly elected national
Catholic co-chairman of the National Conference of Christians and
Jews, was guest of honor at a luncheon at the Book Cadillac hotel,
attended by members of the executive committee of the Detroit
Round Table of Catholics, Jews and Protestants and other geusts.
