Rabbi Opher Stays, As Council Acts At a special meeting of the delegates of the Synagogue Coun- cil of America held in New York May 16, the Committee on Scope presented a program designed to strengthen the organization and give it the place in the American Jewish community visualized for it by Rabbi Opher and the lead- ership of its constituencies.
