He was a resident of Detroit for 40 years. One of the organizers of Chesed shel Emes, he devoted himself to the needs of this institution of which he was considered the spiritual leader. He also was as- sociated with Congregations Beth Abraham and Ahavath Achim. An overflow assembly attended the funeral services which were held May 15. Rabbis Joseph Thumin and Isaac Stoliman and Cantor R. Boyarsky officiated. There were addresses by Sam- uel Brezner, president, Mrs. Ida Solomon, president of the Ladies' Auxiliary, Abraham H.
