Syrian-Lebanese leaders in De-
troit this week protested the im-
pression being given by Arab
propagandists that all Syrians
are anti-Zionist.
The current edition of the
Syrian-Lebanon Guide, edited by
'Sammy Joseph and published at
4473 Cass, in its English edition,
carries a front page editorial on
"The Arab," which states in part:
There are millions of refugees
roaming the earth, who are home-
less and in drastic need of re-
fuge.
Many are returning to their
original homesteads and in the
Jewish situation, where else can
they return but to PALESTINE?
For who has more right than
these Jewish refugees, who un-
derwent such horrible annihila-
tion and persecution during the
past grave conflict?
Revered Home of Jews
As Mecca symbolizes the home
of the Moslem Religion, and is
accepted the world over as the
citadel, housing the Arabs; so,
is the historical state of Pales-
tine accepted down through his-
tory as the revered home of the
Jewish Race.
Who has- not heard of KING
SOLOMON, - DAVID, or the
founder of all churches, JESUS
CHRIST? And pray tell me, in
what surroundings were their en-
vironments?
Palestine has housed the Jew
since the days preceding the
time of Our Lord, excepting of
course, when they were; as now,
unmercifully . persecuted a n d
massly deported.
