When the Home' opened its present quarters, it brought from the Jewish Old Folks' Home on 318 Edmund Place 46 residents. This number 'was' increased to the present 'population of 160. Aside from physical facilities for housing and feeding of resi- dents the Home is provided with a fully %equipped examination room, treatment room for physio- therapy, - oxygen tents, electric cardiograph. A staff of 18 nurses under the supervision of a head nurse is in constant attendance. A pharmacy operated by the Aesculapian Pharmaceutical So- ciety dispenses all medical pre- scriptions. A resident physician assisted by a visiting-staff looks after the health of the 4-residents.
