of the Halevy Singing society,
again was elected president for
the . 1946-47 season at the recent
annual. meeting. •

Dr. Klein proposed establish-
ment of an advisory board con-
sisting of former Halevy execu-
tive members who are unable to
retain active membership and
leaders in Detroit Jewry who are
interested in the Halevy. He an-
nounced that a campaign would
be opened soon to add at- least 25
members to the chorus.
The Halevy will continue to
meet each Tuesday evening un-
til the. close of the school year in
the ,auditorium of the Roosevelt
school, Linwood and Burlingame.
