Temple Israel Holds
Passover Family
Sabbath Service

Anniversary of Historic

The prize novel on Jewish
psychology, "Wasteland", by Jo
Sinclair, will be the subject of
Rabbi Leon Fram's sermon at
the Sabbath Eve services of Tem-
ple Israel, Friday night, April 26,
at 8:30 in the large auditorium
of the Detroit Institute of Arts,
John .R. entrance. •
The choir of Temple Israel,
conducted by Dan Frohman, will
sing in support of Cantor Robert
S. Tulman, with Karl W. Haas
'at the organ.
With the review of "Waste-
land", Rabbi Leon Fram begins
a series of book review sermons.
This evening (Friday) Temple
Israel observes Passover Family
Sabbath Eve when members of
the congregation will come with
their children. The Confirma-
tion class will serve as Choir.
Rabbi Fram will preach on "Pass-
over in Jewish Legend".
On Monday morning, at 10:30,
in the Lecture Hall of the Detroit
Institute of Arts, Temple Israel
will observe the seventh day of
Passover. Yizkor memorial ser-
vices will be read. Cantor Rob-
ert S. Tulman will chant the
memorial prayer. The choir will
render Passover music.
There will be no sessions of the
Religious School on April 20, and
21. Sessions will be resumed
April 27, 28.

Center on Wednesday, May 1,
at 6:30 p. m. Mrs. Ira Kaufman

Gordon is general chairman and
Mrs. David Miller, co-chairman.
Mrs. Samuel Gold is in ,charge of
the souvenir book.
