Miss Rita Cantor of Pasadena Ave. has returned from a two
months' visit in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Meyer NeWman Of W. Outer Dr. has returned from a pro-
longed stay in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Louis H. Sable, who has served with the U. S. Army, 79th
I.tifantry Division, and spent 15 months with the ETO, has received
_ his discharge and with. Mrs. Sable is now spending a few weeks
in the East.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred W. Payson and son, Anthony, and Herman
Liebenhan, all of Chicago Blvd., have returned from a three weeks'
-visit in New Orleans and Lafayette, La., and Biloxi and Natchez, Miss.
Miss Nettie Cohen of New York is spending the holidays with
her family. She is at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Alfred C. Allan, 18243 Fairfield. •
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert H. Warner and son, Cpl. Joseph L., of
: Calvert Ave. have returned to the city after visiting in the East
for several weeks. .
Mr. and Mrs. Al Silber of Sturtevant Ave., honored their
.daughter, Barbara Marilyn, with a sweet sixteen catered birthday
party at the Detroit-Leland Hotel. It was attended by 50 friends
from Central High and others. Her brother, PM 3/c Leonard Silber,
came in for the occasion from Creat Lakes.
Cpl. Graham Henry Landau, who was in service three
years, including a year and a half overseas, has received his dis-
charge and is at ,home with his father, Maurice Landau, of Long-
fellow Ave. His sister, Carol, also is visiting her home, from the
University of Illinois, Champaign, Ill. Mrs. Landau, who recently
left by plane for Palestine, saw her son in Paris shortly before he
embarked for the U. S. -
Mrs. Martin Butzel and sons, Leo Martin II, Albert and John,
of Birrhingham have returned from a stay in -Stewart, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Enggass and son, Robert, of Cumber-
land Way, and Maurice Enggass and his daughter- Barbara, also of
Cumberland Way, have returned from a few days' Visit in Nash-
ville, Tenn.
Sally Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.' Douglas I. Brown of
Lucerne Dr. arrived on Thursday from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where

Edwin M. Rosenthal of Hollywood, Fla., is visiting 'with his
children, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Newman of Canterbury Rd., Mr: and

Hoke Levin of Boston Blvd.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Fecheimer of Monterey Ave. have as
their guests Mrs. Fecheimer's brother and sister-in-laW; Mr: and
Mrs. S. L. Scheuer of Cincinnati. . • •
Lt. David Crohn, who is on leave from his post at Camp Upton,
N. Y., is spending the holiday week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Lawrence W. Crohn of Wildemere Ave.
Miss Ruth Hershman of New York City is spending the holiday
week with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Hershman of Calvert
Ave.
Nancy Levin, who is attending . Bard College, Annendale-on-the-
ThidSon, is spending her week's spring vacation with her parents,
and Mrs. A. J. Levin of Muirland Ave. _
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fleishaker have moved from the Whittier

Hotel and are now residing on West Eight Mile Rd.
Dr. Benton I. Marks of Saulte Ste. Marie, Mich., spent a few
days in the city attending the dental convention and visiting with
members 'of his fanilly.
Isabel Wolfner, lArho is attending Columbia University in New
York City, is spending- her spring vacation with her parents, Mr.
. and Mrs. Julian G. Wolfner,of Burlington Rd:-
Oscar A. Kaufman of Strathcona Dr. left last week to join
Mrs. Kaufman and their son, Sheldon in E. Smyrna, Fla. They are
expected to return home this week-end.
Stephen Sarasohn, who is doing graduate work at Columbia
.University, is spending his week's spring vacation with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Joshau Sarashon of Atkinson Ave.
Mrs. A. M. Armann of Merton Rd. left on Thursday for Cin-
cinnati where she will visit her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
. •Mrs.. Joseph Ullman.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel N. Gershenson have moved into their new
home at 19565 Cumberland Way.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown of Warrington Rd. have returned
from a few days' stay in Cleveland where they visited with members
of Mr. Brown's family.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew B. Lorre of Kentucky Ave. have as their
guests, Mrs. Lorre's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Schneider, who have recently arrived from Oldham, Lancashire,
England. •
Mr. and Mrs.- Robert Janeway of Canterbury Rd. are spending
a few weeks in New York City. Their daughter, Joyce, who is at-
tending Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, will join them during her
spring vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Schlafer of Whitmore Rd. returned on
Monday from a visit in New York City.
. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Thal had as their guests last week their sons,
Ensign Richard Thal and S 2/c Donald Thal, who were both home
on 10 day leaves.
Mrs. Stanley Glazer of Chicago is spending a short time in the
city visiting -vvith members. of her family.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Blumberg of the Belcrest Hotel have as their
guest Mrs. Blumberg's cousin, Jean Goldstone of Los Angeles, who
is on spring vacation from her classes at Vassar College.

Phyllis Alvin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Alvin of Long-
fellow Ave., and Marilyn Sandorf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald
Sandorf -of Warrington Rd., have returned to the University of
Wisconsin after spending a few days with their parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Saul Share of Seward Ave. returned last Satur-
day from a visit in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Barney Keywell of Shrewsbury Rd. returned on Monday
from a week's stay in New York City.

Music Guild's Final
Concert Wednesday

Detroit Music Guild which has
been playing to sold-out houses
throughout the season, will end
its tenth annual subscription
series on Wednesday evening,
April 24, in the Lecture Hall of
the Detroit Institute of Arts.
As a fitting climax to a most
successful season, the Music Guild
will present a group of nine Det-
roit musicians in seldom heard
works by Beethoven and Mozart.
The program consists of the
Beethoven Quintet in 'E-flat for
piano and Four Winds, followed
by the Serenade in C Minor for
Woodwind Octet by Mozart and
will close with Rondo for Eight
Woodwinds by Beethoven.
Katja Andy, widely acclaimed
pianist, and the Dirk Woodwind
Ensemble will be the featured
artists for the evening. This group,
as presently constituted includes
Lare Wardrop, Harold Hall, Wil-
liam Griss, B e r n a r d Rosen,
Frances Hellstein, Ted Evans,
Gerald Schon and Robert Sch-
roeder: A few seats are available
at the door for those who are not
regular subscribers to the Detroit
Music Guild Subscription Series.

take place in Butzel Hall of the
Jewish Center at 8 p. m. Tuesday,

Festivities for the evening will

ers, square dancing, prizes and
