Tremendous Response to Drive
Reported by Women's Division
The tremendous response of
the Jewish women of Detroit to
the 1946 Emergency Allied Jew-
ish Campaign was ,fflustrated in
the announcement of women's
gifts ranging from $5,000 to $250.

Bnai David Men's Club
To Hold Cabaret Dance;
2 Scouts Made Eagles
The Men's Club of Congrega-
tion Bnai David will sponsor a
cabaret dance on Saturday eve-
ning, April 27, in the social hall
of the synagogue. Music will be
furnished by Bernie Roberts and
his orchestra. Tickets may be ob-
tained by calling TO. 5-3316. Pro-
ceeds will go to the Allied •Jew-
ish campaign.
Boy Scout Troop 135, sponsored
by the Men's Club, under the
leadership of Scoutmaster Irwin
Rather, staged its Court of Honor
recently. Albert Green, commis-
sioner, presented the troop with
its charter and installed the com-
mittee. The highest rank in
Scouting, the Eagle Award, was
presented to Fred Kallman and
Marvin Sheplow. On April 10,
Scout Troop • 135 held a mock
Seder in observance of Passover.
Kiddush was chanted by Paul
Fuschman. A . question and an-
swer period followed the dinner,
Rabbi Joshua S.' Sperka partici-
pating.

The wedding will take place on
