S. instead of in Palestine was adopted unani- mously here at a meeting of the National Administrative Council of the Zionist Organization of America, the ruling body be- tween conventions. Although no official statement has Yet been issued by the ZOA, it is believed that the sponsors of the resolution convincingly argued that if the World Zion- ist Congress is held in the U. S. it would have the effect of de- ' cisively swinging American pub- lic opinion in favor of a Jewish Palestine. Declaring that "the primary aim of our movement in this hour is the establishment of a free and democratic Jewish Com- monwealth in Palestine," the Declaration, issued over the sig- nature of Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, president of the organization, urges that "all party and group considerations must be subordi- nated" to this aim. • • • • • • The exhibit, which consists of 25 placards, also is being shown widely throughout the country.
