In 1942, the number of inter-
marriages among Jews in Can-
ada had increased to 226, with
2100 in which both bride and
groom were Jewish.

nent officers will be held.

Lt. David Paul, who has been in service for the last three
years, is now on ,terminal leave and with Mrs. Paul and their
small daughter, Linda Kay, is for the present making hiS home
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Rosenberg of Webb Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. John C. Hopp of Boston Blvd. are spending the
week in New York City.
Mrs. Peter Vass of the Wilshire Hotel left on Thursday by
plane for Miami Beach where she will be a guest at the Sea Isle
Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Schlessinger of :Boston Blvd. left last
week' for New Orleans, La., where they are the guests of their
