Pass Federal Test

Seventeen members of the cit-
izenship class at Central evening
school have received certificates
for creditable work since last
September, most of them having
passed their examination in Fed-
eral court and now awaiting
their final papers.
As a special feature of the fall
term, an examiner from Federal
court visited the class and put on
a demonstration using members
as examinees and witnesses. The
fall term instructor was Louis
Rosen, citizenship teacher at
Central.
The winter term has been un-
der way four weeks. New mem-
bers are welcome at any time.
Instruction is continuous until
the student has completed his
work. The class, now being led
by Wilson Jenkin, meets each
Monday and Wednesday, 7 to 9
p. m. Classes are free and text-
books are provided. Those who
cannot read may learn by regu-
lar attendance.
