Mrs. Joseph Burak of Longfellow Ave. is spending a few days
in Grand Rapids visiting her mother, Mrs. Benjamin Wolf.
Michael Clamage of Chicago is visiting his son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Shwayder of Fairfield Ave.
Mrs. Bernard Rosenthal has returned to her home in Beau-
mont, Tex., after a few weeks' visit with relatives and friends.
She was- a guest at the Belcrest.
Thomas Martin Klein of Chicago Blvd., who recently was gradu-
ated from Central High School; is spending a fortnight visiting
with relatives in Boston before • matriculating at the University
of Michigan.
Mr. arid Mrs. Melville S. Welt of Balmoral Rd. are spending
some time in Mexico.
Miss Freda Rosenthal of W. Dakota Ave. has returned from a
few weeks' visit in Mexico.
Miss Harriet Simon of the Wilshire Hotel spent the last week-
end in Milwaukee where she visited with relatives and friends.
Mrs. Betty Lipton of Burlingame Ave. left on Tuesday for
Los Angeles where she will visit her brother-in-law and -sister,
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Levenson.
Lt. (sg) David Miro, USNR, who has been in the Navy for two
years, including service in the Pacific, has received his discharge
and with Mrs. Miro and their children, Judy and Jeffrey, are making
their home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Goldman of At-
kinson Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Greenbaum of Oakman Blvd. had as their
guests last week-end, on the occasion of their son, Gilbert's Bar
Mitzvah, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hirsch, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hirsch,
Major and Mrs. Sidney R. Hirsch, Paul Hirsch, Dr. and Mrs. Henry
Singer and Miss Frances Singer of Brooklyn, N. Y.

after an extended visit with members of her family. She was the

getting into full swing under the
guidance of the newly organized
House Council, composed of dele-
gates of AZA, Bnai Brith Girls
and Center clubs meeting at the
D. W. Simons School, Tuxedo
and Holmur.
A get-together dance for mem-
bers of all the clubs will be held
at the Simons School at 8:30 p. m.
this Saturday.
Members will gather at Winter-
halter School gym for basketball
and recreation, Monday evening.
Ping pong and checkers tourna
ments are in the offing. Discus-
sions and lectures will be held.
Clubs meeting at the Simons
School on Tuesdays and Wednes-
days may enjoy the game facili-
ties and records before and after
meetings.
There is room for additional
clubs to join. All interested may
