Enchanted Scene

By SARAH PHILKA

Diamond stildded specks,
Falling from the heavens,
Flying through the air,
Round and round.
Weaving •themselves
Into a glistening blanket of white•
To cover the stalk-like trees
And the naked earth.
Cold, white magic -
Flking through-the air,
Falling . softly—gently—quietly.
There's magic about the first snowfall
That leaves the world dreamy-eyed
And breathless.
