Pisgah Lodge Holds
`All Sports Night'
At Center Monday

Pisgah Lodge of Bnai Brith
will meet Monday evening at the
Jewish Center to compliment re-
cently elected members. It will
be. an "All Sports Night."
A demonstration of fencing
will be given by two outstand-
ing fencers. A weightlifting ev-
ent will be another feature: An
exhibition of table tennis will be
given.
The educational feature will
consist of a talk on Bnai Brith
by Ben Z. Glass of Chicago; ex-
ecutive director of District No. 6
of Bnai Brith.
The evening will conclude with
a social hour. Refreshments will
be served.
At the last convention of Dist-
rict No. 6 Bnai Brith in Milwau-
kee, Isadore Starr, of Detroit,
introduced a resolution advocat-
ing the formation of Yiddish
speaking lodges in Bnai Brith,
Supreme Lodge amended its by-
laws eliminating objections.
Mr. Starr, district chairman of
new lodges, has been working to
organize -a Yiddish speaking Bnai
Brith Lodge in Detroit.
Next Wednesday, at 8:30, the
first meeting to organize a •Yid=
dish speaking Bnai Brith Lodge
will take place at the Butzel Hall
of the Jewish Center. A gro"up of
leaders in Yiddish speaking cir-
cles have been invited. All who
are interested are welcome to at-

Pioneer Women Get
$35,000 from Donors

The 15th annual event of
Pioneer Women's Organization
was a great success.

Mrs. J. Schreier, Council chair :-

Mrs. D. J. Warren presided. Mrs.
M. Michlin, fund-raising chair-
man, - announced that the sum of
$35,000 was realized for the pro-
gram of Moatzoth Hapoaloth and

Kfar Saba.

Palestine.
