For Children 5-10 Year's

Supplementing its local activi-
ties of providing care for indi-
gent school children, ' ,Youth
Education League• has contribu-
ted $3,000 to the Women's Divi-
sion of American Jewish Con-
gress to provide for 10 children
in the European area for one
year. -

It is announced that Youth
Education League will receive
photographs, names and ad-
dresses of the children for whom
this, care will be provided.
Proceeds of Youth Education
League's victory luncheon on
Feb. 12 will be used for the
group's relief activities.

director of the Detroit Commun-
ity Fund, announced this week
the appointment of Mrs. Trudie
Sarasohn as director of publicity

The Hebrew speaking public
is invited to the Hamisha Asar
b'Shevat celebration of Kvutzah
Ivrith, Saturday evening, at 9,
in the auditorium of Rose Sittig
Cohen Bldg.
This celebration is sponsored
by the women Hebraists of the
Kvutzah, who have prepared a,
literary program for this occa-
sion, featuring brief talks, reci-
tations and community singing.
The participants are: Miss Mir-
iam Gold, Mrs. Yonina Mathis,
Mrs. Gertrude Bresler, Mrs. Faye
Ackerman, Mrs. Ben Golbin, Mrs.
Deborah Dworkin, Mrs. Alex
Roberg, who will direct the sing-
ing, and Mrs. Solomon Kasdan,
chairman.
Refreshments will be served by
the Ladies' Auxiliary of the
Kvutzah.

Mrs. Edythe Cugell will open
her own. summer camp on Lake
Charlevoix this summer.
Thee enrollment will be limited
to a select group of 50 campers,
5 to 10 years old.
Mrs. Cugell has a fine profes-
sional background in school and
camp work, being owner and di-
rector of the Cugell Day School,
Thatcher and Wyoming.
The staff is composed of trained
and experienced counsellors.
