Miss Delphine Klein of New York City has been visiting her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jules Klein of Calvert Ave.
Marcia Tobin, who is studying at the Manhattan School of Music
is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Tobin of Webb Ave.
• Lt. Comdr. Allan H. Kline, who recently returned from 19
months service in the Pacific area, left on Wednesday for the Great
Lakes Naval Training Center after spending a short leave with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Kline of Cortland Ave.
Dr. and Mrs. Harry Metzger of Atkinson Ave. have returned
from a week's stay in Chicago.
Miss Anne Solomon of Atkinson Ave. has returned from Wash-
ington', D. C., where she visited with relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Haas of Elmhurst Ave. have returned from
Chicago where they spent the last 10 days visiting with members
of their family.
Chief Warrant Officer Ted Feingold, who was in service for
51 months, has received hiS- disCharge and with Mrs. Feingold left
Detroit on Wednesday for New York City where they will make
their home.
Frieda Frazer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Frazer of Leslie
Ave., has returned to her classes at Michigan State College in Lan-
sing after spending the vacation period with her parents.
Harris Crohn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Crohn of Wilde-
mere Ave., has returned from New York City where he spent a
week visiting with relatives.
Henry Ehrlich of Los Angeles, Calif., is visiting his mother, Mrs.
Joseph H. Ehrlich of the Belcrest Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hersh and their sons, David and Robert
have returned to their home in Buffalo after a few days' visit with
members of their family. They were the house guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Vass of Webb Ave.
Ensign Warren Shwayder, who is stationed at the Great Lakes
Naval Training Center, spent the New Year week-end with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Shwayder of Fairfield Ave.
Edith Altheimer returned to her home in Winnettka, Ill., on
Thursday, after spending the vacation period as guest of Nancy
Wolfner of Burlington Rd.
- Lawrence Finkel has returned to his classes at the Medical
School of the University of Chicago after spending the holiday
vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Finkel of Warrington Rd.
- Mrs. Samuel Cohen and her son, David, has returned to her
home in New York City after a week's visit with Mr. and Mrs.
Alfred C. Allan of Fairfield Ave.
Lt. (sg) Mandell L. Berman, USNR, who has recently returned
from service in the Pacific area, is spending a 30 day leave with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Berman of Burlingame Ave., before
reporting to Coronada Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Ted Solomon and her daughter, Claire, of Burlingame
Ave., left on Wednesday for a visit in New York City.
S 2/c Peter Globerson is spending a leave with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. I. L. Globerson of Leslie Ave., and will leave on Jan. 9
for San Pedro, Calif.
Ensign Peter B. Copeland, who has recently returned from the
Pacific area, is spending his leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Abe J. Copeland of Wildemere Ave.
Sgt. Joseph F. Lefkofsky, who has been in service three years,
including one year in the ETO, has received his discharge and is
at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Goodman Lefkofsky of
Philadelphia Ave. His brother-in-law, Sgt. Mitchell Feldman, who
has been in service for two years, has also received his discharge
and with Mrs. Feldman and their son, Joel, is for the present mak-
ing his home with her parents.
Suzanne Dreifus of Birchcrest Dr. had as her guest during the
vacation period Joan Baer of Rockford, Ill.
Miss Suzanne Berger • of 2940 Chicago is visiting with Miss
Constance Lipchinsky in Miami Beach.
