M. The Nazis have murdered 6,000,- 000 Jews—among them hundreds of thousands of our children. We call upon those who are fortu- nate to live in freedom to carry with pride the responsibilities for our future, and we ask them to make Hamisha Asar the sym- bol of our hopes and faith of planting and building. "We urge parents to make Hamisha Asar a holiday for home observance; to give a place of honor to the JNF, Blue and White box on this occasion; to discuss the future of Palestine with the children on this festival and to plant trees in the name of every member of the family through the JNF."
