honorably discharged from the army after serving for three and
a half years, two years of which were spent in the South Pacific,

Junior Hanukah Party
At Center This Sunday;
Varied Program Set

S. Z. Sisterhood Holds
Hanukah Affair Monday

The festival of Hanukah will,
be observed by the boys and girls
of the Jewish Center at 2 p. m.
this Sunday. Special entertain-
ment will be presented in the
auditorium, - Woodward at Hol-
brook featuring a play, selected
- movies and an exhibit of arts
and crafts.
Later the children and their
parents who also are invited will
be entertained with several box-
ing matches in the gymnasium
and fancy swimming and diving
exhibitions in the Aaron DeRoy
Natatorium. After the program,
refreshments will be served.
Mrs. Charles Lakoff, chairman
of the junior activities committee
of the Center, announces that in
addition to such a program child-
ren meet every Sunday after-
noon for a rounded program of
play and recreation.
