JDC Ships 25 Carloads
Of Supplies to Italy

Twenty-five carloads of cloth-
ing, shoes, tools and raw mate-
rials are being unloaded at a
railway station near Milan,
Italy, for homeless and dis-
tressed Jews in Italy and Aus-
tria, it was revealed by Dr.
Joseph C. Hyman, executive
vice-chairman of the Joint Dis-
tribution Committee.
The shipment, valued at $1,-
000,000, was made available to
JDC by military officials, accord-
ing to a cablegram from Reuben
Resnik, JDC representative.
