Protests were heard throughout the world against the
pogroms on Jews in Tripolitania. More than 100 Jews were
murdered in these pogroms, many of them children.
Mass graves were dug' for the victims and all Tripolitan-
ian Jewry, which dates back its history to the beginning of
Christianity, are in mourning.
