WASHINGTON, D. C.—Action on the. pending
Palestine Resolution in Congress was delayed pending
the discussions on the issues affecting the future of
the Jewish National Home in Palestine to be conduct-
ed here during the coming few days by President Tru=
man and Prime Minister Attlee. -

The Jewish News correspondent learns on good
authority that the overwhelniing support of the Pales-
tine Resolution in the U. S. Senate nevertheless hit- a
snag because of the desire of many. friendly Senatori
to await action by the visiting Prim.e Minister after
consultation with the President,

This correspOdent also learns that Dr. Chaim

Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organ-
. izatiOn and the Jewish Agency for Palestine, may
participate in the ,Truman-Attlee discussions on

Palestine:. Dr. Weizrnann is due to arrive in this -
country on November 10.

The •Palestine. Resolution' is, at last, considered
iron-clad in its wording and is believed to haw the
"go sign" from
