her studies at the University of Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Cohan of 8435 12th St. celebrated their
25th wedding anniversary on Oct. 21, at a dinner followed by a
reception at Jericho Temple. Their son-in-law, Arnold Levine, who
has been discharged from active service after returning from
overseas, was present with his wife, the former Sharyn Cohan.
Their daughter, Yeoman 2/c Ruth Cohan, flew in from Washing-
ton where she is serving with the WAVES. Out-of-town guests

Cadillac Crystal Ballroom.

showing of the film, "A Pass to
Tomorrow."
This technicolor movie was
taken by Col. Edwin IR Cooper,
noted explorer and member of
the U. S. Armed Forces. He
spent his leave touring the Holy
Land, and depicts the contrast of
modern Tel Aviv and Haifa with I
Arab wastelands. Jewish scien-
tific methods in agriculture are
compared with primitive Arab
practices.
