Afternoon classes of Yeshivath
Beth Yehudah _ continues to draw,
a large enrollment, despite the
increased number of registration
in the Day SchOol . and Inter-
mediate. department's. About 300
boys attend classes' each after-
noon. They are divided into 14
classes which range from Aleph
Beth, through Chilmosh and to
advanced Talmud groups.
To ensure uniform progreSs of
its Pupils, the Yeshivah has not .
accepted' any beginners above the
age of 9. Yeshivah-, howeVer,
has been able to • provide some
facilities to enable older children
to study with One of the' tnein.-
bers of the staff privately, under
an accelerated program. • in time
they will be able to fit into the
more adVanced classes.
