on Oct. 1 in honor of Mr. and Mrs. David Hoffman who are leav-
ing for Phoenix, Ariz., with their children, and in honor of M/Sgt.
and Mrs. Nathan Spector who are home on a 15-day furlough from
Camp Hood, Texas. •
. Mrs. David Kallman and daughter, Rita, of Canterbury Dr.,
left. on Oct. 1 for a two-week stay in New York where they are
guests at the St. Moritz Hotel.
Miss Lois J. Glass, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Glass of 18240
San Juan, was honored on. her 16th birthday Sept. 15 with a lunch-
eon at the Book Cadillac. In the evening, 40 guests celebrated her
birthday at her home. Her sister, Miss Elaine R. GlaSs, has left
to resume her studies at the University of. Illinois.
Cpl. Albert I. Siegel is spending a 30-day furlough with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Siegel of 3224 Richton Ave. He has
just returned from 11 months' service overseas.
"Miss Diane Gorelick, daughter of Mr-. and Mrs. Jack Gorelick
of Hollywood, Calif., will entertain 20 guests Oct. 6 in honor of
her 16th birthday. •

Lt. Louis H. Blustein has returned home after 22 months over-
seas duty. Open house will be held in his honor at the home of his
aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel DeRoven, 2909 Webb, at 4 p. tn.
Sunday. All friends, and relatives are invited.
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Lunsky held a reception Sept. 29, at their
home on American Ave., in honor of the blessing of their twins,
