Isa Kremer, internationally
recognized as a great balladiste
and for many years acclaimed
as one of the very great inter-
pretative singers and stage ar-
tists of our time, returns to De-
troit after an absence of several
years in two appearances—Sun-
day matinee and evening—at the
Scottish Rite Cathedral of the
Masonic Temple.
Miss Kremer will play the
leading part in the Yiddish hu-
morous musical revue, "Jolly
Fellows."
Under management of Abra-
ham Littman, who has for near-
ly a quarter of a century direct-
ed the Yiddish theater in De-
troit, this performance will mark
the reopening the Yiddish the-
atrical season here.
Assisting Miss Kremer, in ad-
dition to a celebrated assisting

cast, will be the following stars:
M i c h a el Rosenber, noted
comedian of the English and
Yiddish stage.
Judah Bleich, eminent actor,
who directed the Public Theater
in New York for two years.
Ben Zion Wittier, well known
actor who was a favorite with
Detroit audiences and who is
known as a character actor and
singer.
Tickets for these performances,
at 75 cents to $1.50 matinee and
$1 to $2 evening, plus tax; are
now available at the home of
Mr. Littman, 1927 Pingree, TY.
6-9186, and at the Metro Music
House, 10324 Dexter, TO. 8-4114.
Mr. Littman calls the attention
of local organizations that he is
prepared to arrange with them
for benefit performances during
the entire season.

Hebrew Schools
Register Pupils

Hebrew Schools declares:
"It is of the utmost importance
that parents arrange for the at-
tendance of their children now,
at the time when classes are be-
ing organized and teachers are
engaged for the coming year. It
works a great hardship, both
upon the pupil and upon the
school when parents decide to
register their children a month
or so after registration time. The
child cannot fully adjust himself
to the organized class, and the
school is not always in a posi-
tion to engage new teachers in
the middle of the term. Par-
ents are therefore urged to reg-
ister their children at once."

Special Arrangements Made
for Pre-School as Well as
Advanced Classes

All branches of the U n i to d
Hebrew Schools are accepting
new pupils in all classes.
Additional facilities have been
added for 'the accommodation of
pre-school children, ages 31/2 to
5, in two of the Hebrew school
units, at the Rose Sittig. Cohen
and the David W. Simons Schools.
For 5 year old kindergarten
children there are classes ,from
4 to 5:30 p. m. Children of 7
and over are admitted -t6 reg-
ular claises, and sessions are
held, after public school hours,
at 4 p. m.
The length of each session is
an hour and a half. Children of
the younger age are admitted
to the first session at 4, while
older children attend at 5:30.
High school pupils and Bar Mitz-
vah boys are taught at 7 p. m.
