Activities of OSE Renewed in Poland; Open Lodz Offices NEW YORK—OSE, organiza- tion for child care, health and hygiene among Jews, has renew- ed its activities in Poland after a forced interruption of several years, according to a cable-mes- sage which the New York office of American OSE has received from Warsaw. OSE (or TOZ, under which name the organization has been active in Poland, since 1920) has opened its headquarters in Lodz, (Sienkiewicza 51) where there is now the largest Jewish com- munity in Poland. The new executive committee of the or- ganization includes some of the old TOZ leaders who survived the ordeals of the last six years. Dr. L: Wulman, executive di- rector of American OSE; was again elected general secretary of TOZ, an office he held up to the outbreak of the war.
