On the New Year 5706, it is proper that mankind should
think in terms of the Mission of Israel—which is summed
up in one word: "PEACE!"
As we realize peace, we humbly invoke the spirit
everlasting- brotherhood for all mankind.
We pray for the realization of the great ideal of the
Prophet Isaiah:
"And they shall beat their swords
into plowshares,
And their spears into pruning-hooks;
Nation shall not lift up sword
against nation,
Neither shall they learn war any more."
