PARIS, (JTA)—Supreme Headquarters of the Allied
Expeditionary Forces has granted permission to the Joint
Distribution Committee to enter Germany in order to extend
aid to stateless Jews in coordination with the United States
Relief and Rehabilitation Administration.
Three groups of JDC workers have left for the camps at
Bergen-Belsen and Salzwedel
where 3.000 Jewish internees are
concentrated. The office of the
JDC here also is planning to
send physicians, nurses and wel-

Buchenwald. The personnel will
be recruited in the U. S. by the
JDC. in England by the Jewish
Committee for Relief Abroad,
and in France by the OSE.
A contingent of 500 Jewish
children from Buchenwald ar-
rived here. The JDC and the
OSE have arranged that the chil-
dren be placed at Thionville
temporarily so that they may re-
gain their health.
