Strength" will be the theme of
the annual Shaarey Zedek Con-
secration Service, at 10 a. m.
Sunday, in the main auditorium
of the synagogue, where 53 girls
will be consecrated.
Dr. A. M. Hershman will ad-
dress the consecrants. Cantor
J. H. Sonenklar will be in charge
of the musical program.
A highlight of the service will
be the cantata "Our Bialik" by
Ira and Judith Eisenstein. Shir-
ley Subar, this year's Consecra-
tion Service director, will be the
pianist. Vocal solos will be sung
by Ronnie June Shapiro, Mari-
lyn Rita Pensler and Annette
Stern.
During the Flower Service—
in which Audrey Joyce Corn-

In 7th War Loan

With a total of $276,000 in
bonds purchased by Bnai David
worshipers during Shevuoth ser-
vices, the congregation and its
affiliated organizations are pro-
ceeding with plans for record-
breaking activities during the
7th War Loan drive.
This drive is being conducted
in memory of President Roose-
velt.
Mrs. Joseph Jacobs is general
chairman of the drive, and Bnai
David members and friends are
asked to communicate with her

and to place their orders at once
for war bonds.

Temple Israel Men's Club
To Carry on During Summer

Temple Israel Men's Club will
continue activities throughout
the summer, meetings having
been planned for the months of
June, July and August, it was
announced this week by Saul J.
Benyas.
Plans are being made for a
picnic to be combined with a
business and social meeting in
conjunction with Temple Israel
Sisterhood.
