the gathering at a gala banquet held recently in Rio de Janeiro when the Jewish com-
munity and leaders of Brazil made an important contribution toward the establishment
in Palestine of the Weizmann Institute of Science in honor of the great scientist and
president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. Brazil's quota toward the fund is $100,-
000, five percent of the cost of the scientific project to be erected soon in Palestine.

fare Federation's Allied Campaign.
