Lt. Jack Nater is spending a two-week leave with his wife, the
former Gertrude Weinstein, of 2971 Glendale. Lt. Nater has just
completed a four-month course in ordnance at the Officers' Can-
didate School at Aberdeen, Md. He previously spent 18 months in
the Aleutians. He will report back to Aberdeen, where he will
serve as instructor.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sucher of 19570 Stratford Rd. have just
returned from Boston, Mass., where their son, GM 3/c Donald
Sucher, was stationed.
Pfc. Arthur Doctor who has been spending a 30 day furlough
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Doctor of Calvert Ave.,
after 24 months overseas, has left to rejoin his unit organization in
the Southwest Pacific.
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Broder of Lawrence Ave. have returned
from Cambridge, 0., where they visited their son, Pfc. Harry
Broder, who recently has returned from overseas.
Capt. and Mrs. Edward Rosenthal, Jr., of Parkside Ave., left
for Santa Monica, Cal., where they will spend two weeks and
from where the Captain will be re-assigned for further duty.
Ens. Morton Clamage who recently returned from a year's
overseas duty, the last engagement being at Iwo Jima, is spending
a 20-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Clamage
of San Juan Dr. His brother, Lt. (jg) Stanford Clamage, who has
been overseas for nine months and also participated at Iwo Jima,
is expected home this week-end. Their brother Lt. (jg) Irwin
Clamage, who is on a 30-day leave, arrived with Mrs. Clamage and
their small son two weeks ago.
Lt. James Zuckerman, stationed at Fort Monmouth, N. J., is
spending two weeks with his parents, Mr .and Mrs. Elmer Zucker-
man of Plymouth.
Capt. and Mrs. Robert Morrison and their small daughter
Rosalie who have been residing in Ann Arbor are spending two
weeks in the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marwill
of LaSalle Blvd. before the Captain will leave for his new post.
Mrs. Allan H. Wolfson and her small son and daughter who
has been residing in Memphis, at present are making their home
with Mrs. Wolfson's mother, Mrs. Henry N. Weinstein of 2668 Cal-
vert Ave. while Lt. Wolfson is on overseas duty.
Mrs. Alexander Freeman of Chicago Blvd. is expected home
this week-end from Washington where she visited her son, Capt.
Alwyn V. Freeman.
C/M Norman E. Feinberg left for New York City after spend-
ing a week-end leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry M.
Feinberg of Oak Dr. His brother, Pfc. Robert M. Feinberg who
has recently returned from overseas duty is home on a con-
valescent furlough.
Lt. Leonard Stone who is stationed at Big Spring, Tex., is
spending a two weeks' leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David
S. Stone of Chicago Blvd.
_Mrs. Wilfred Doner and her small son and daughter of Hunt-
ington Woods have left for Oklahoma City to join her husband,
Pvt. Doner.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Geschelin have moved from Edison Ave.
and are now residing at 17546 Pennington Dr.
Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Jospey and their daughter Joanne have
moved from Wildemere Ave., and are now residing at 20130 Wake-
field Ave.
The S. Joseph Wallachs formerly of 2286 Calvert are now re-

United Yiddish Folk
Organizations to Hold
Affair at Center May 27
The United Yiddish Folk Or-
ganizations will hold a general
meeting and concert on Sunday,
May 27, at 8 p. m., in the audit-
orium of the Jewish Center.
Max Bressler, president of the
Chicago division of the American
Jewish Congress, will be guest
speaker. Maxim Brodin and
Zelda Zlatin will give a recital
of Jewish folk music.
This meeting is planned as a
general rally for all members of
the organizations affiliated with
the United Yiddish Folks Organ-
ization's City Committee.
POALE ZION Branch II will
hold its annual social affair on
May 20, at the Rose Sittig Cohen
Bldg. The program will include
Moshe Dombey, Shirley Fleisher
and the Halevy Hazomir. Re-
freshments will be served. All
are welcome.
