A distinct honor will be accorded to Morris L. Schaver,
one of Detroit's most prominent labor Zionists, at the labor
Zionist rally at the Jewish Center on Sunday evening, when
he will •be presented with a certificate signifying that a
forest is to be planted in his honor in Palestine.
This will be the third forest to be completed in Palestine
this year by Detroit Jews—the
other two being the Fred M.
Butzel Forest and the Joseph H.
Ehrlich Memorial Forest.

Program
The Detroit labor Zionists will open their annual drive
for the Jewish National Fund at a public meeting on Sunday
evening, May 13, at 8:30 o'clock, at the Jewish Center, Harry
Schumer, chairman of the drive, announced.
Mr. Schumer has . asked all labor Zionists and their
friends, and all cooperating organizations to attend this
meeting and to send their repre-O
