LONDON (JPS-Palcor)—The National Executive Com-
mittee of the British Labor Party has announced the adop-
tion of a resolution calling for a removal of emigration bar-
riers and an immediate announcement of proposals for a
future Palestine. The full text of the resolution reads:

Marshall Lodge Holds
Bond Rally on Monday
A giant Bond Rally, sponsor-
ed by Louis Marshall Lodge and
Women, will be held at the Dex-
ter Theater, Monday, May 7, at
8 .p, m.
Personally autographed sports
articles and a great many other
donated items will be auctioned
off. Three hours of entertain-
ment will be offered by noted
guest stars of stage and radio
featured by the "Just Kids"
troupe of youthful stars, direct-
ed by Suretta Mosher, in a com-
plete show.
Mrs. Milton Herman is in
charge of the rally and admis-
sion will be by a War Bond pur-
chase, only.
The announcement said that
"although a very small - number
of Jews survived the horrors
of Belgrade and the concentra-
tion camps at Jajince and Po-
land, the care of this small num-
ber is still a difficult problem."
Argentine Jewry Urged
To Aid War Victims
BUENOS AIRES, (JTA)—In-
tensification of efforts on behalf
of Jewish war victims was
urged at the annual meeting of
the DAIA; central-. organization
of Argentine Jewry, attended by
more than 100 delegates repre-
senting 50 affiliated organiza-
tions and seven branches of the
DAIA outside of Buenos Aires.
Dr. Moises Goldman was re-elect-
ed president of the DAIA for a
two-year term.

Extend Symphony
Competition Date
The final date for composers
to submit their manuscripts in
the $32,500 "Symphony of the
Americas" competition has been
extended two months to Sept. 1,
according to an announcement
made through the Mutual Broad-
casting System by Henry H.
Reichhold, president of the De-
troit Symphony Orchestra and
sponsor of the award.
The three winning composers
will have their works perform-
ed next spring by the Detroit
Symphony Orchestra under Karl
Krueger, and broadcast nation-
ally over Mutual.
The "Symphony of the Amer-
icas" competition first announ-
ced in January is open to native
born_ composers of the 21 Pan-
American Nations and Canada.

NEW YORK — Dedicating its
Seventh War Loan Drive to the
late Maj. Gen. Maurice Rose, the
Jewish War Veterans of U. S.
have set a national quota of $75,-
000,000 for its membership, it
was announced by Archie H. -
Greenberg, National Command-
er. The quota, 50 percent higher
than that of the Sixth War Loan,
was agreed upon following con-
sultation with Lewis Jaffe of
Philadelphia, national chairman
of the JWV drive.
"In the sixth War Loan Drive,"
said Greenberg, "the JWV posts
throughout the country sold $50,-
000,000 in bonds. For the corn-
ing Seventh `War Loan Drive, we
have raised our quota to $75,000,-
000 as a special tribute to the
