Grocers' Spotlight
Trophy Given Wolf,
Grosberg and. Reuter

On April s-4; a testimonial din-
ner was tendered honoring
Joseph. Wolf,. Charles Grosberg
and John Reuter, -known to the
business world as "Grosberg and.
Reuter," wholesale grocers and
operators of the Packer& Out-
lets super markets. The dinner
was given by The Grocers' Spot-
light.
The publisher of this paper,
Louis R. Shamie, presented to
the members of Grosberg and
Reuter, The Grocers' Spotlight
silver trophy for 1945, in rec-
ognition of the achievements of
the members of the firm, in the
food field.
Mr. Shamie recalled how these

years ago in a small and humble

and have built up their business
to its present status of one of the
largest wholesale grocery houses
in Detroit as well as a chain of
fine super food markets.
He pointed out that the pres-
entation was made not only be-
cause of their business successes
in their wholesale and retail gro-
cery business, but more because
the lives of these three partners
have united men of different re-.
ligious faiths, namely Roman
Catholic and Jewish, in such.a
harmonious and brotherly fash-
ion that makes their ,experience-'
together an outstanding symbol
of unity, tolerance and good fel-
lowship.
