Tandem, Major League Prospect, Killed at Leyte Frank Faudem, only son of Mrs. Bessie Faudem of 2235 W. Boston Blvd., and the late Sol Faudem, was destined for: a great future in major league baseball. Prior to Jan. 11. 1943, when he was inducted into the U. S. Army, he was under con- tract with the Detroit Tigers. But destiny willed it otherwise, and his career ended on the battlefield.
